Available as a digital download. After purchasing, you will be sent a secure download link via WeTransfer.
Take it in Stride is the latest duo project from drummer Jacob Wutzke and saxophonist Lucas Dubovik. The duo plays with a striking sense of interplay and creativity as they breathe new life into arrangements of jazz standards and original material.
The album contains 6 tracks which were professionally video recorded, as well as audio recorded using 3D immersive audio recording techniques. Specifically, Sennheiser AMBEO microphones capture the sonic space and make it feel as if you’re there in the room as we’re recording. Then, the project was mixed in conjunction with the video so that you’re hearing more or less drums or saxophone according to the camera angle that you’re seeing on your screen. Taken together, it’s a fully immersive experience in which you can watch the duo perform, and it feels as if it’s YOU moving around the room checking out the music as we play.
